jomm belajar management !

one of the topic in management that we need to cover is MOTIVATION, 
so ! what is management means ?
D to E to F to I to N to to T to I to O to N
DEFINITION :
MOTIVATION refer to intrinsic and extrinsic forces of individual that stimulate their passion and determination to accomplish certain goal.

OK! ape maksudnya ??
senang cerita,
 motivation ni macam sesuatu yg membakar semangat untuk accomplish certain goal x kisah la sama ada secara intrinsic (dalaman) or extrinsic (luaran)
CONTOHNYER ??

kamu datang class setiap hari sebab nak tengok muka crush yg satu class dengan kamu ;)
OMG ! :P

 i wish i punya crush pon satu class jugak ! 
baru ada motivation nak datang class hari hari.. HAHAHA~

3 early theory of motivation :

okey, there is 3 early theory of motivation :-

i- hierarchy of need theory
ii- theory X and theory Y
iii- two factor theory

i-HIERARCHY OF NEED 

1st of all, kita kena tau hierarchy tu ape ?
ermmm.. HIERARCHY bermaksud sesuatu yg macam pyramid system, 

dimana yg paling bawah merupakan perkara yg paling basic dan yang atas semakin advance.
yelaa bila keperluan kita yg paling basic dah dipenuhi kita mesti nak lagi bagus kan.
let me give you an example, 
let say, today we live in a apartment, when we have enough money, surely we want to have a better place to stay such as a terrace house or maybe a bungalow or even a villa,
see from a very basic need we then expand the need to be more comfort in line with our latest capabilities.

so the hierarchy of need look like this




ii-THEORY X AND THEORY Y 

okey, bila cakap pasal theory X and theory Y what should have in our mind is



X- stand for -ve (PUNISHMENT)
Y- stand for +ve (REWARD )

*yelaa X kan sama maksud dengan 'tak' so -ve laa and y is opposite of it *



those people with "X-theory-attitude" need to be sent to training so that they will become more valuable to the company, 
otherwise, fired them and employed a better employee..
yelaa dari simpan dorang tapi malas dan X(tak) menguntugkan baik kita pecat je kan :D
kesian sape jadi employee aku nanti

iii- TWO FACTOR THEORY

secara ringkasnya, two factor theory ni has been introduced by FREDERIC HEARTZBERG. 
he done a survey about a job satisfaction to identify those factor.
as the result, he came out with this two factor theory which 
a) motivation theory
lead to work satisfaction and motivate employee

b) hygiene theory   
fulfill basic need and prevent job dissatisfaction.

 


CONTEMPORARY THEORIES OF MOTIVATION :

kalau tadi dah diterangkan mengenai early theory, so sekarang kita akan move on kepada contemporary theories pulak.
4 sub in contemporary theories is :

i- three need theory
ii- goal-setting theory
iii- reinforcement theory
iv- equity theory
